ABOUT US
MAEVE Ridgecrest, California chapter of MAEVE, a non-profit organization that seeks to empower all who mother in support of one another and their communities. Our chapter was founded in 2021 and most of our current members are transplant from the closed MOMS Club. We are delighted to be part of MAEVE and make new friendships as we support mothers in Ridgecrest.
EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
Monthly Meetings
Meet us at the Ridgecrest Library on the last Tuesday of the month at 11 AM. Kids are welcome.
Moms Night Out
Moms gather once a month to dine out without kids and connect with others.
Book Club
Every month book club picks a book to read and discuss at the end of the month. Kids are welcome.
Kids Crafts
Kids and their adults can make a craft appropriate for the little hands with a volunteer from MAEVE Ridgecrest.
Mom and Kid Hike
Moms and kids explore trails near Ridgecrest.
Park Playdates
Park playdates are the perfect opportunity to make new mom friends and let your kids explore the great outdoors together.
Java mamas and kids
Moms gathering over coffee to share stories, support, and recharge together.
Advent Gift Exchange
Moms come together on different festive occasions and give each other individually wrapped advent gift.
FUNDRAISERS AND COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
Food Drive and Bake Sale
Through generous donations of our members and Ridgecrest community we were able to collect non-perishable food to stock Grace Lutheran Care Center in May, 2023.
High Desert Women's Center Fundraiser
We held a donation drive for our local women's center last November, 2022.
